Introduction
The mobile app Daily Notifier (hereinafter: “Daily Notifier app”) is an app for creating local push notifications for your device (hereinafter: “Daily Notifier”).
The collection, processing and use of your data is carried out according to the provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Data Protection Act, in particular the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO).
This document explains how we handle personal data.

Furthermore, this document explains which data is collected, stored and processed and how the protection and security of personal data is guaranteed.

1 How is the data processed when downloading the Daily Notifier app?
1.1 Download of the Daily Notifier app
To download our App from an AppStore (e.g. Google Play, Apple App Store), you must first create a user account with the respective App Store providers and conclude a corresponding user agreement with them. Daily Notifier has no influence on this. When downloading and installing the App Daily Notifier, the necessary information is transferred to the respective App Store, in particular your user name, your e-mail address and the customer number of your account, the time of the download, payment information and the individual device identification number. Daily Notifier is not responsible for this data collection and we have no influence on it. Daily Notifier will only process the data provided as far as this is necessary on the mobile device. Beyond that, the data will not be stored further.
1.2 Installation and Authorizations
In order to provide the services provided by Daily Notifier app and to ensure the technical functionality of the Daily Notifier app, Daily Notifier requires various access options and information.
Permission for access to individual functions and information is requested either during installation or use of the app and includes, among other things, location, notifications and mobile data. Some of the granted access permissions can be viewed and revoked under the settings of the mobile device, although limited access permissions may have a negative effect on the functionality of the app.
2 How is data processed when visiting the Daily Notifier website?
In server log files, the provider of the website automatically collects and stores information which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Visited page on our domain
- Date and time of the server request
- Browser type and version
- Operating system in use
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 letter b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
3 What data is processed after installing the app?
Daily Notifier uses the personal data listed in this section exclusively for the purpose of the user relationship and out of the legitimate interest of Daily Notifier in accordance with the contents of this privacy policy.
The legal basis for the processing of the personal data listed in this section is (if not explicitly referenced) Art. 6 I lit. b) EU-DSGVO or Art. 6 I lit. f) EU-DSGVO.
3.1 Push notification data
3.1.1 Voluntary information
When creating a push notification, the following information must be provided:

- Recurring frequency
- Startdate / Time
These data are collected, processed and used for the use of Daily Notifier. Furthermore, this information is used for displaying notifications.
This data is deleted when you delete the app and its iCloud backups.
4 Which cookies does Daily Notifier use?

5 Which data is passed on to whom?
Daily Notifier does not forward users’ personal data to third parties unless the user has given his or her consent to do so, the transfer is required by law or is legally permissible.

User data and other data
Daily Notifier may pass on customer data to external service providers and agents who are commissioned to process customer data for the purpose of executing the contract (legal basis: Art. 28 DSGVO).
Customer data may be passed on in the context of changes to the business structure, legal regulations and the enforcement of Daily Notifier’s rights, to prevent fraud and to ensure security. Aggregated data or data adjusted for personal characteristics may be used for this purpose. Customer data is passed on to advertising partners and analysis and tracking services in pseodonymised form.

6 When is the data deleted and how are backups created?
All data collected from the user will be deleted or made anonymous when the app is deleted.
When are backups deleted?
Daily Notifier data is stored by your personal iCloud backup. This backup data is not within control of Daily Notifier.
7 Which data security measures are there at Daily Notifier?
User data is extremely important to Daily Notifier. Daily Notifier uses suitable procedures to protect them and to protect them from unauthorized access: The use of the Daily Notifier domain and Daily Notifier app is carried out via a secure SSL/TLS connection. Thus, the communication between the user and our servers is encrypted.
